	Friends Of Radnor Lacrosse Annual Kickoff Party

Please join us at The Saturday Club to celebrate the start of the 2012 Lacrosse season at the 4th Annual Friends of Radnor Lacrosse Season Kickoff Party on Friday Feb 24th from 7:30 to 10:30. This year we welcome the girls youth and HS programs into the Friends of Radnor Lacrosse. We will also be honoring Kathy Early with the 1st annual Award of Merit for her dedication to lacrosse in our community.

Food, Drinks, Fun

$60 per person

Must be 21 years or older to attend the party

Sponsorships of $250 or more acknowledged in program booklet.

Proceeds will benefit equipment needs, camp scholarships and educational trips. We need your support to be able to help where help is needed.

This year we are having a raffle and a silent auction.
Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance 5 for $20 or at the door 5 for $25.

	Announcing RGYL'S 2012 Spring Program

WELCOME TO RADNOR GIRLS YOUTH LACROSSE

RGYL(Radnor Girls Youth Lacrosse) is excited to announce the program offerings for the 2012 season. Please read carefully as new age groupings will go into effect this spring in accordance with US Lacrosse’s Guideline. RGYL has also expanded the practice schedule for U9 and U11, and built in a skill development night in addition to a team practice night for U11, U13, and U15.

Registration for all RGYL Programs will begin on January 1, 2011 and run through January 31 2012. After January 31st a $25 late registration fee will be applied.

The RGYL 2012 season will begin the week of March 19th and conclude on Saturday, May 20th.

Program offerings for Spring 2012

U9 (3^rd Graders)

An in-house program dedicated to beginner skill development and game play on “smaller” fields. Key fundamentals such as throwing, catching, scooping and cradling will be taught. The goal at this level is to create a positive experience, provide exercise, and make certain the girls have fun!

Practice: Wednseday evenings from 5:30 - 7pm
In house Games: Saturdays, a one hour game in mid - late afternoon

U11 (4^th Graders)

This program is divided between intramural competition, games with surrounding townships, and organized one day lacrosse tournaments, as called “play days”. The girls will be placed on teams, however, the emphasis will be on continued teaching of fundamental stick skills, and strategy of team play.

Practice: Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7pm (one night skill development and one night team practice)
Games: Saturdays, typically a one hour game between the hours of 2 - 4pm

U11 (5th Graders)

This program is for girls with improving lacrosse skills and experience. Girls will be placed on teams that match their skill level after being evaluated. In the beginning of the season, the girls will be notified of the evaluation process for team placement. The Radnor Girls Lacrosse Program has a "no cut" policy and will field a team for all girls who want to play.

Practice: Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7pm (one night skill development and one night team practice)
Games: Saturdays, typically a one hour game between the hours of 12 - 5pm

U13 (6th & 7th Graders)

Girls will be placed on teams that match their skill level after being evaluated. All girls will participate on travel teams that will play other townships and participate in play days. The Radnor Girls Lacrosse
Program has a "no cut" policy and will field field teams for all girls who
want to play.
Practice: Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7pm for 6th grade and 7 - 8:30pm for 7th grade. One night is for skill development and one night is for team practice.
Games: Saturdays, typically a one hour game between the hours of 12 - 5pm.

U15 (8th Graders)

Girls will be places on teams that match their skill level after being evaluated. All girls will particiapte on travel teams that will play other townships and participate in play days. The Radnor Girls Lacrosse Program has a "no cut" policy and will field teams for all girls who want to play.
Practice: Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8:30 pm (one night is skill development and one night is for team practice.
Games: Saturdays typically a one hour game between the hours of 12 - 5 pm.


	New and Easy Registration Coming January 1!

Participants will now be able to register for RGYL Programs and obtain/update their US Lacrosse membership identification number through the new consolidated registration system. Please visit www.radnorgirls.com on January 1, 2012 to register.
